NEW BOOK!
Theo’s new book Wild Australia published in October 2006 is a portfolio of his best work of this isolated southern continent photographed between 1998 and 2006. Over ten long journeys and a total of two years he visited even the remotest corner of “downunder” and captured its rugged, old landscape and unique wildlife in an exciting and original way.
His images are accompanied by an excellent text by biologist and conservationist Nicola Markus. Written for interested lay-people, the text provides an overview of the natural phenomena that shaped Australia over millennia and those that shape it today.
In 2006 Theo won an award for his image “The great delta” in the Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition organized by the BBC and the Natural History Museum in London.
